Disinstallare Reimage Repair
If you want eliminare Reimage Repair from your PC, the first step you need to take is to go to the Windows control panel and delete the software using its steard uninstallation process.

It was used Windows 7 or a previous version of the Microsoft operating system, you can uninstall Reimage Repair by following the same procedure just seen together for Windows 10. Delete the remaining Reimage Repair files
If trying to uninstall Reimage Repair or Reimage Smartbar you see error messages, try using Revo Uninstaller: it is an excellent free program, also agolable in a portable version (therefore it does not require installations to work) that analyzes programs present on the PC and allows you to uninstall them in an advanced way by deleting all the files that they leave "scattered" on the disk and the "orphan" keys they leave in the system registry.
To download Revo Uninstaller in portable version, connect to the program's website and click on the button Free Portable found at the bottom of the page. Then extract the contents of the archive RevoUninstaller_Portable.zip you just downloaded from the Internet to a folder of your choice, launch the executable RevoUPort.exe click her cousin Yes e then OK to view the list of programs installed on the PC.
At this point, select Reimage Repairclick on your button Uninstall which is located at the top e, if possible, follow the steard uninstall procedure of the program (the one I showed you previously). At the end of the uninstallation procedure of Reimage Repair (or after the error that prevents you from moving forward has appeared), put the check mark next to the item moderate e click on the button Scan Revo Uninstaller to start searching for residual files and orphaned registry keys left behind by the software.
After the scan is complete, select the folders and registry keys found by Revo Uninstaller and delete them by clicking the button Delete. If the Reimage Smartbar, repeat the procedure for the latter as well.
Please note: even if you select the "moderate" scan mode, there is a minimal risk that Revo Uninstaller will delete registry keys that are also useful to other programs (or some system components). Before using it, therefore, take a couple of minutes of free time and create a system restore point. Eliminate Reimage Repair related malware
As mentioned in the opening of the post, there are some malware that make Reimage Repair pop-up advertisements appear or that continuously redirect browsers to the download page of this program. To eradicate them, you have to rely on a couple of free antimalware that I have already had the opportunity to recommend to you on numerous occasions (as these are two of the best solutions of this type agolable for free, and not only). As you may have already understood, I am referring to AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
AdwCleaner
AdwCleaner is a small free program (now owned by Malwarebytes) that specializes in removing browser hijackers, the malware that modify the behavior of web browsers. It is very fast, light and does not require installation in order to function. To download it to your PC, connect to this web page and click on the button free Download.
Once the download is complete, start the program AdwCleaner.exe And, nella finestra che si apre, clicca prima on on pulsado Yes e then Accept in order to access its main screen. Then press the button Analyze e wait a few seconds for the system status to be examined (at the same time, the program will also update its definitions).
Once the scan is complete, check that there is a check mark next to all potentially harmful elements detected by AdwCleaner and first click on the button Clear e then OK to start the deletion from the PC. You may be asked to restart your PC. When you log into Windows again, you will be shown a text file with a list of all components removed from the system.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is one of the most complete and advanced anti-malware software currently agolable on the market. It is agolable in two versions: a paid Premium which includes real-time system protection and a Free, free version, which allows you to test the features of the Premium version for 30 days but which even afterwards allows you to check the system status through scans. on deme (which, in my opinion, are the best solution when it comes to malware).
To download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on your PC, connect to the official website of the program and click on the button first Free download e then Download now. When installation is complete, start Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, click on the button Scan present in the main window of the program and wait for the scan to finish (which will be significantly longer than that of AdwCleaner). If suspicious items are reported to you after the scan is complete, select them and agree to quarantine them.
Please note: if you want to disable Malwarebytes real-time protection, go to the menu Settings program, select the tab Protection and deactivate all the levers located under the item Real-time protection.
Reset the browser
At this point, you should have managed to eliminare Reimage Repair and the malware that pushed its installation via advertising web pages. To verify that this is actually the case, try opening the program you usually use to surf the Internet (eg. Chrome) and check if any invasive pop-ups or other references to Reimage Repair still appear.
In the unfortunate event that references to Reimage Repair have not completely disappeared, proceed as follows.
Clean desktop shortcuts
Some malware modify the links on the Windows desktop so that, when the browser is opened, a page with advertising (in this case the download page of Reimage Repair) is displayed instead of the home page chosen by the user.
To correct this problem just access the properties of the links related to the web browsers, then Chrome, Firefox, Edge etc. and check that at the end of the field Destination there are no Internet site addresses or other unwanted parameters.
Going into more detail, to "clean" the shortcut on the desktop of a browser, you have to right-click on the browser and select the item Property from the menu that appears. In the window that opens, then go to the tab connection, move the mouse cursor to the end of the field Destination e, if after the program path (eg "C: Program Files (x86) GoogleChromeApplicationchrome.exe" for Chrome), there are other parameters, delete them. Then click on Apply per salvare i Cambiomenti.
Check extensions
Browser hijackers work by injecting malicious extensions within browsers. Then try to access the menu with the extensions installed in your browser and see if there are any suspicious ones attributable to Reimage Repair. If so, select and delete them.
- To check the list of extensions installed in Chromeclick on your button ≡ top right and you have to go up Other tools> Extensions.
- To check the Firefoxclick on your button ≡ top right, you need to go up Additional components and finally, you have to select the item Extensions from the side bar of the left.
- To check the Edgeclick on your button (...) at the top right and you have to select the item Extensions give the menu check if you press.
Check home page and search engine

- To change home page and search engine to Edgeclick on your button (...) in alto a destra and selects the voice Settings from the menu that opens. You will find the settings related to the start page in the side menu and those related to the search engine in the section Advanced settings> Change search engine.
Return the browser to its factory state
If at this point in the tutorial you are still dealing with some traces of Reimage Repair in your browser, I'm sorry, but you just have to bring it back to factory state deleting all the data, settings and addons present within it.
- To bring back Chrome in the factory state, click on the button ≡ in alto a destra and selects the voice Settings give the menu to compare. Dopodiché click on the itemAdvanced located at the bottom of the page, scroll the page to the end and press the button Restore.
