Delete Apple ID from iPhone via password recovery
Without a doubt, the simplest and most effective method for delete Apple ID from iPhone without password is the one that involves the use of Apple's password recovery system. Following this procedure, it is in fact possible to delete the Apple ID from the phone even without remembering the starting password, and even if two-factor authentication has been activated. I'll explain everything, in detail, below.
Two-factor authentication accounts
The system two-factor authentication is the best way to ensure the security of your iCloud account. When it is active, it becomes possible to verify your personal identity through the phone number or through another device associated with the same Apple ID, greatly simplifying the password recovery procedure.
So, if you have activated two-factor authentication and want to delete the Apple ID from your "iPhone by", access the Settings of iOS, by touching the d-shaped icongear placed on the Home screen, tap on yours name and touch il pulsating Logout, located at the bottom of the screen that is proposed to you (the account summary).
If everything went well, the screen should open Password ID Apple, in which, under normal conditions, you should enter your account password. Since you can't remember it, you can start the password reset process as follows: type a wrong passkey, touch il pulsating disable and repeat these steps again to access the password recovery area.
Now, tap the button Reset password e, if a Access code, enter it on the next screen. If everything went well, you should be able to set one new password, typing it in the fields that are proposed to you.
If not, tap the item You have forgotten your access code, tap the button Continue and indicates the Phone Number that you associated with the Apple ID, in the text field that is proposed to you.
When you're done, tap the button NEXT (located at the top right), press the button Reimposta with telephone number and wait for the receipt of theSMS containing the verification code sent by Apple, which should arrive after a few seconds. If this is not automatically recognized, enter it manually in the field verification code.
Now, type the security code that you set up on one of the other Apple devices, press the button NEXT and specify the new access key to be associated with the Apple ID, typing it in the boxes Password e Confirmation. Finally, tap the button again NEXT, to reset the password.
At this point, the disconnection from the Apple ID should start automatically: therefore, specify whether or not to keep some data of the configured account (such as Safari, of the app Bag, i Contact, Keychains and so on), by acting on the special levers e, finally, by touching the button Logout, to disassociate the Apple ID from the phone.
If you can't access your phone number, you need to start the password reset procedure by tapping on the item Don't have access to your registered number? and choosing the option Reset from another device, so as to be able to conclude everything using a second device paired with the same Apple ID.
Now, you should see a message stating the wording A message with instructions has been sent to [device name]: when this happens, access the indicated device and follow the instructions displayed on the screen to complete the password change.
For example, if the recovery device is a Mac, you need to click on the notification Reset the password (which should appear at the top right), and then choose the item Show e, after clicking on the button Reset password, enter the new access key in the fields New password e Confirm password. To conclude and save the changes made, click on the button Continue.
Once the password reset phase is completed, go back to the iPhone from which you intend to dissociate the Apple ID, go to the area Settings> [your name] of iOS and press the button Logout located at the bottom of the next screen.
Finally, enter the Password previously set, tap the button disable and indicates whether to keep a copy of the data associated with the Apple ID in the memory of the "iPhone by" or not. When you are done, press the button Logout (top left), to complete the operation.
Accounts without two-factor authentication
If your account is not protected by two-factor authentication, you will need to follow a slightly different procedure than the one seen above.
For a start, go to the Settings iOS (using the d-shaped icongear located on the Home screen), tap the you don't know and then on the button Logout, located at the bottom of the next screen.
Once this is done, he points to one Password incorrect twice in a row (by touching the button disable each time) e, on reaching the screen Did you forget your password, touch il pulsating Reset password combined with it.
Now, check that theApple ID is correct (if necessary, enter it manually), tap the button NEXT and specify the recovery mode you prefer to use between Use security questions e Usa email.
If you opt for the first option, you will need to specify yours date of birth and then respond to security questions set when creating the iCloud account. Once this is done, tap the button NEXT (located at the top right), enter the new one Password in the fields that are proposed to you e, to finalize the password reset, touch the buttons NEXT e end.
If everything went well, iOS should ask you whether or not to save some data relating to the Apple ID that you are about to delete: once you have made your choice, press the button Logout, located at the top right, and that's it!
By choosing, instead, to perform the password recovery through e-mail, you will receive the instructions for restoring it in the e-mail box: then access the message received from Apple (from any device you prefer) and press the button Reset that you find inside. Once Apple's site is displayed, indicate the new one Password you intend to use for your account in the appropriate fields and press the button Reset password, to complete the restoration phase.
We're almost there: go back to the iPhone, access the area Settings> [your name] iOS, tap the button Logout located at the bottom of the screen e, after typing the new one Password of your Apple ID in the appropriate text field, tap the button disable and indicates whether or not to keep some data of the iCloud account you are about to dissociate. When you are done, press the button end, to permanently delete the Apple ID from the phone.
Final operations
Although the dissociation of the Apple ID from the iPhone involves the deactivation of the iOS "anti-theft" system, called Where is, I still recommend that you delete the device from the devices associated with the Apple ID in question, if you know that you will no longer use it .
To do so, connect to the Apple account management web page (which you can also reach by manually typing the address appleid.apple.com) using the app you usually use to browse the Internet (eg. Safari) and log in using theApple ID and Password previously reset, or via Face ID / Touch ID. If prompted, then complete two-factor authentication, indicating the passcode received on the device.
Once logged in, touch the item devices, do tap on iPhone name from which you deleted the Apple ID e, to finalize the disassociation, tap the buttons Remove from account e Remove. In case of second thoughts, you can re-associate the "iPhone by" to the Apple ID by accessing it through the section Settings> [your name] of iOS.
