How to delete Windows 10 administrator account
As I already mentioned to you at the beginning of this guide, delete an account from Windows 10 it is an extremely simple operation to complete, even if it is a profile with administrative privileges. Before continuing, however, I have to clarify a couple of very important things: first of all, the profile to be deleted must have been previously disconnected from the computer, otherwise it will not be possible to proceed with its definitive deletion.
In addition, the deletion of an administrator user must be done through an account with elevated privileges (or with knowledge of the credentials of another administrator of the computer). Precisely for this reason, Windows 10 allows the deletion of an administrator-type user profile only if at least it is configured on the same computer another account with elevated privileges. So, if you don't have one, you need to create one by following the instructions I give you below.
Create an elevated user account
To create a user profile in Windows 10, you must first open the menu Home (by clicking on the button in the shape of pennant located in the lower left corner of the screen) and press the button (I.e., and then choose the item Account from the screen that opens and select the item Family and other people, located in the lateral section of the same.
At this point, press the pulsating [+] Corresponding to the wording Add another user to this PC, indicates a Microsoft account to use to log in (you can create a new one by following these instructions) and then specify the password to access the account to finalize the process.

Delete an administrator account
Now that you have finally created the new administrative account, you can proceed with deleting the old one. First, therefore, restart your computer and log in with the newly created profile, then open the menu Home or the search bar of Cortana e, in the text field, type the words Control Panel, and then click on the most relevant reont (the one marked with the wording App Desktop).
Once the Control Panel screen opens, click on the items User Accounts e Remove user accountselect il name of the profile you want to delete and then click on the item Delete account. At this point, choose whether to save the user's personal files (Desktop files and Documents, Music, Video folders and so on), by pressing the button Keep files, or whether to delete them permanently, by clicking on the button Delete files. To conclude and permanently delete the account, press the button Delete.
If you are not interested in saving the files of the user you are about to delete, you can also remove the profile using the Settings Windows 10: After opening the menu Home, premium pulsating (I.e. resident in it, access the section Account and move to the tab Family and other peopleby selecting it from the left bar.
Finally, click on the account you want to delete and complete the operation by clicking on the buttons Remove ed Delete accounts and data: after a few seconds, the user's account and related personal files will be deleted from the system.

For some reason, you had the need to activate the Administrator account (ie the "super-admin" account which can act undisturbed in the operating system, without receiving the continuous requests for authorization generated by the user account control) and now, for reasons security, would you like to deactivate it? Then this is the most suitable section for you!
Before proceeding, make sure you have logged the account in question from the system and logged in from a profile with administrative privileges (or to know the username and password of an administrator, if you intend to operate from a profile with limited permissions).
However, you can deactivate the Administrator account in a very simple way: first, do it click destroy on the button Home di Windows, select the voice Windows PowerShell (Administrator) from the proposed context menu and presses the button Yes (also indicating, if necessary, the credentials of a computer administrator).

To finalize the deactivation of the super-admin account, you simply need to restart your computer.
Alternatively, if you have a "professional" version of Windows 10 (e not a basic version like the Home, to be clear), you can carry out the same operation by acting through theSecurity Policy Editor, the Windows management panel that allows you to specify the behavior of the system in the most delicate situations.
To do this, type the key combination Win + R e, in the window that opens, specify the comme secpol.msc, I follow the pressure of the tasto Submit. Once the security policy setup screen opens, expe the items Local criteria e Security options, do Double-click on the key Account: administrator account status e, in the small screen that opens, set the value Disabled e pulsing on pulsating OK to finalize everything. To make the change active, do a restarting the computer.
How to delete limited Windows 10 account
Contrary to what we saw previously for administrative accounts, you can get rid of a limited account (that is, it does not have elevated privileges on the system), without the need to create a "replacement" one.
Please note that this must be done from a user profile other than the one to be deleted and that, to be successful, such a profile must have administrative privileges (or you need to know the password of a computer administrator). Also, the account to be canceled must have been in advance disconnected from the system.
All clear? OK, let's proceed. First, open the menu Home Windows 10, type the words control panel in the appropriate search area and select the homonymous reont, marked with the wording App desktop.
At this point, click on the itemUser Accounts, then on the option Remove user account e, if necessary, specify a username it's a Password as administrator and press the button Yes. Clearly, this last step isn't necessary if you're operating from an account with elevated privileges.

If you are going to do this through an account like administrator, you can follow an alternative route, equally valid: open the menu Homeclick on your button (I.e. located on the sidebar to access the system settings e, in the screen that appears, press the button Account and subsequently on the item Family and other people, located on the left.
At this point, all you have to do is click on Profile to be deleted, then on the button Remove e, aware that this operation will delete the user's personal files (those contained on the Desktop, in the Documents, Music, Video folders and so on), complete the operation by pressing the button Delete accounts and data.
How to remove accounts from the Windows 10 Mail app
After installing Windows 10, you wanted to give the app a chance Mail, by configuring your email account internally. After some time, however, you have decided to opt for a program that you think is more suitable for your needs and you have slowly "abeoned" the default Windows 10 client.
