How to get rid of unwanted toolbars
As mentioned at the beginning of the post, the first solutions that I recommend you use are programs that allow you to delete toolbars from all browsers instantly: it's antimalware software that analyze the system (or just web browsing programs), detect potentially harmful or unwanted components on the PC and delete them. Here are some of the best.
Malwarebytes AdwCleaner (Windows)
The quickest and "painless" way to remove promotional toolbars from Windows is to use AdwCleaner on Malwarebytes: a small free program that quickly scans your system and removes all additional toolbars installed in your browser in one go (plus other types of malware, such as those that change your browser's home page and search engine).
To download the program on your PC, connect to the Malwarebytes website and click on the button Free download, in the center. When the download is complete, start the file .exe just downloaded and click the button Yes, to access the main screen of the program (which does not require installation to function).

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Windows/macOS)
If AdwCleaner failed to remove all the toolbars in your browser, try installing Malwarebytes Anti-malware. If you have never heard of it, it is another Malwarebytes antimalware, more complete and advanced, capable of eliminating all the main types of malicious software from the system: trojans, rootkits, worms, dialers, etc.
It is agolable for both Windows that for MacOS (where, however, the risk of running into promotional toolbars is much lower) and is distributed in two versions: one free and one paid (with prices starting from 39,99 euros / year). The main difference between the two is that the paid version has a module for the protection of the system in real time: a function that, personally, I consider superfluous, especially in view of the simple removal of the toolbars (but which is still agolable as a free trial. for 14 days).
That said, let's take action. To download the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-malware on your computer, connect to the official website of the program and first click on the button Free download e poi quello Download now (if necessary). Once the download is complete, if you use a PC Windows, april il file .exe obtained and complete the setup by clicking on the buttons in sequence Yes, OK, Computer for personal use, Continue, Accept and install e end.

Manual uninstall
Not even Malwarebytes Anti-malware managed to eliminate the toolbars that "haunt" your browser? In this case, I advise you to roll up your sleeves, look for "suspicious" items in the list of programs installed on your PC and take care of them "manual" removal: that's how.

In the window that is proposed to you, then click on the icon App, select the toolbar to uninstall (eg. Google toolbar) from the list of programs installed on the PC, presses the button Uninstall twice consecutively and follow the instructions on the screen to proceed with the removal of the software (generally, just click on Next / Next).
If you don't know some of the names that you find in the list of programs installed on your PC, try a Google search, in order to be sure of their identity and find out if you should uninstall them or not.
If you use a Windows version prior to 10 (or you use Windows 10 and prefer to follow the old program uninstall procedure), you can remove the toolbars from your PC via the classic control panel: to access it, click on the button Home (the flag icon located in the lower left corner of the screen), search for terms "control panel" in the menu that opens and select the first occurrence found.
In the window that opens, then go to Uninstall a program, select the toolbar to uninstall (eg. Google toolbar) from the list of programs installed on the PC, press the button Uninstall (above) and follow the instructions on the screen to proceed with the removal of the software (usually, just click on Next / Next).
I use a Mac? In that case, as mentioned above, you should be pretty safe from the toolbar risk. How to remove toolbar from browsers
In case the solutions mentioned above did not help to remove the toolbars present in the browsers installed on your PC, you have to act "manually" in the latter. You must therefore access the list of add-ons for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer and Safari and delete the extensions related to the toolbars: below you will find explained how to proceed (for browsers compatible with multiple operating systems, the steps to be taken are the same on all platforms).
How to delete toolbar from Google Chrome

How to remove toolbar from Firefox
Even in Firefox you must follow the steard procedure for removing add-ons. You must then start the browser, click on the ☰ button located at the top right and select the item Additional components give the menu to compare.
In the tab that opens, you must then select the item Extensions from the left sidebar, click on the button ... placed at the toolbar to be deleted, select the option Remove from the menu that is proposed to you and confirm.

How to delete toolbar from Edge
It's rare to find promotional toolbars designed for Edge, the latest browser from Microsoft. In any case, now I'll explain how to conont the list of extensions installed in this browser and how to remove the unwanted ones.

How to remove toolbar from Internet Explorer

In the window that opens, locate the toolbar to remove, select its name and click on the button Disable, to deactivate it. To permanently delete the extension, however, you have to act through the Windows control panel

How to remove toolbar from Safari
As explained extensively throughout this tutorial, i Mac they are less prone to toolbar risk than Windows PCs. In any case, if you use an Apple-breed computer and you have stumbled upon a toolbar that has annoyingly settled in Safari, here's how you can fix it.
First, launch the browser by selecting its icon in the Dock bar or in Launchpad, then go to the menu Safari> Preferences (top left) e, in the window that opens, select the tab Extensions.
At this point, click on the name of theextension to be deleted, then on the button Remove and confirm, in order to delete the selected component.
How to remove toolbar from mobile
Also smartphone and tablet they can be affected by advertising toolbars, if they are equipped with the operating system Android. On the iPhone and iPad, however, this risk is practically absent thanks to the restrictions imposed on the apps by the iOS operating system, which animates the mobile devices of the "bitten apple".
That said, if you have a terminal Android and you have seen unwanted toolbars appear on the home screen, probably it is widget: to get rid of it, you must therefore perform a prolonged tap on them and then drag them onto the (X) or onicon of the Cestino that appears on the screen.
